On Friday, October 13th, Officers & Members of the Glenham Fire Department, along with our brothers and sisters of the Rombout Fire Department, Chelsea Fire Department, City of Beacon Fire Department, Dutchess Junction Fire Department and Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps., participated in Fire Prevention Day at the Glenham Elementary School as we do every year. The kids were tought lessons on extrication, kitchen fires, bedroom safety as well as how to exit their premises during smoke/fire conditions using the "SMOKE HOUSE." They also were allowed to tour all of the fire/ambulance equipment. It was a great day for all, but what's even better are these follow-up tank you's from some of the kids themselves.
