The Glenham Fire Department / Slater Chemical Fire Company was formed on the evening of Tuesday, October 11, 1921 and to this day, almost 102 years later, we remain 100% volunteer. Just as with the majority of volunteer fire departments across this great country, we too are feeling the pressures of waning membership levels and we're actively recruiting new membership. Whether you've lived here a while or are new to our community and have questions about what it takes to become a member we'd love to hear from you. We have membership levels of all types (16 years old and above) to suit your desire to serve the community with our fire department.
