On Saturday, July 15th at 0900hrs the Glenham Fire Department hosted our mutual aid partner and neighbors from the Chelsea Fire Department for a tanker operations drill. Tanker Operations is a vital task in our fire district due to a lack of fire hydrants. Members from both departments went through several evolutions of dumping water from tankers and drafting from a porta-pond into an engine and flowing water that would be sufficient for structural firefighting. We would like to thank the Chelsea Fire Department for training with us this morning and look forward to working with you in the future.
