On Thursday 6/22 at 17:35hrs, the Glenham Fire Department (GFD) and Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps (BVAC) were dispatched for a reported one vehicle rollover auto accident on Washington Avenue. Upon arrival of Chief Steve Buchman, less than 3 minutes after dispatch, he confirmed that one vehicle had rolled over and off the roadway into the woods. Thankfully, the victim in the vehicle was able to self extricate prior to Chief Buchman’s arrival and was evaluated and transported by BVAC. Glenham firefighters remained on scene assisting with traffic until the vehicle was removed. GFD was back in service at approximately 1830hrs. We were assisted on scene by the Town of Fishkill Police Department and Momma’s Towing.
