On May 1st, firefighters from both the Glenham and Rombout Fire Departments got together for mutual aid training. Members from both departments practiced laddering a building which is one of the most important tasks to be completed on a fire scene as that creates a way out from a 2nd or 3rd story for firefighters and potential victims. Additionally, members had the opportunity to work in and off of the bucket atop of Rombout's 62-45 ladder truck. The Glenham Fire Department would like to thank the Officers and Members of the Rombout Fire Department for joining us for training and we look forward to future opportunities to work together.
