We'd like everyone to join us in wishing the best of luck to a very upstanding young man who happens to be one of our very own here at the Glenham Fire Department. Firefighter Garrett Hunter will be taking leave of the department and Glenham community to go forth and serve our country by his enlistment in the United States Marine Corps. He leaves us this Sunday, July 31st.

Garrett joined us as a Jr. Firefighter while in High School in September of 2020 and has been an exemplary member since that day. His service to the community didn't stop there. He's also been a very active Town of Fishkill Police Cadet for the last three years as well and, from what we hear, is leaving just shy of being promoted to Sergeant. We know that with his heart set to service that Garrett is going to make this country and the Marines proud to have him as a new private. We're all gaining one heck of a soldier.

OORAH! Garrett

Some people wonder all their lives if they’ve made a difference. The Marines don’t have that problem. ~ Ronald Reagan
