The Glenham Fire Department / Slater Chemical Fire Company is saddened to announce the loss of 18 year active member Bob Lesko who passed away at home, with family, on Tuesday, July 12, 2022. He was 78 years old.

Besides responding to calls and fulfilling his other active duty requirements, Bob was happy to participate in our other activities around the firehouse, especially fundraising events such as boot drops and our pancake breakfasts where he served as the face at the door to greet our guests as they arrived and explain our unique process.

Bob had many friends amongst us and a few of them are happy to share that besides the firehouse, he truly loved spending time fishing, hunting and finding great deals shopping ... mostly for things that he could use to do anything outdoors of course!

His smile was always big & bright and he rarely had a complaint. We know his wife Jean will miss him, as will his children/grand-children, but all of his brothers and sisters here at this Company will miss him as well. His pain is over; his memory endures.
