On Saturday, June 18, 2022, Officers and members of Slater Chemical Fire Company attended the 133rd Hudson Valley Volunteer Firemen’s Association parade in Wallkill, NY. Our members spent many hours over the course of a month preparing our 2001 American LaFrance Pumper/Rescue for our first parade in nearly 4 years! Among our ranks were members with over 50 years of parade experience and for a few, this was their first parade experience ever! We proudly won a trophy for Best Appearing in Dress Uniform. A great time was had by all and we look forward to our next parade in Nyack, NY on Saturday, October 8th so come out and support us there. We'd love to see you. |
