We will have a collection center established under our pavilion at the Slater Chemical Fire Company on behalf of an amazing charitable organization known as United for the Troops: Their mission according to them, in a nutshell: "Our sole purpose is to make life while at war a little better for our brave men and women serving in the U.S. Military by collecting food, money, and goods that the military does not provide them." That's just the first line and you can read more about them, their mission and everything they stand for and do for our brave men and women ... who are also husbands, wives, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters, friends, neighbors and sometimes just your average everyday hero that you've just never met.

Please take a few minutes, check out this WISH LIST of items, stop at your favorite place to shop (or even your not so favorite) and grab just a couple items and stop by and see us during these few precious hours and donate to the troops with us. If you don't have time to shop, CASH donations are just as appreciated! With the holidays fast approaching, these simple items will be more appreciated by these men and women than you'll ever imagine. We all wish to thank you in advance.
