| The Glenham Fire District, in conjunction with the Association of Fire Districts of the State of New York, is proud to host a New York State Fire District Commissioners Training, welcoming participants from fire districts across the state.
This comprehensive training is designed for members of the Board of Fire Commissioners, as well as district treasurers, secretaries, chiefs, and legal counsel. The program will focus on the roles, responsibilities, and best practices essential to effective fire district governance and leadership.
The training will be conducted by Gregory V. Serio, a highly respected authority in fire district law and operations. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Serio brings 32 years of experience in the fire service with the Verdoy Fire Department in Latham, New York, including a decade serving as a chief officer. He currently provides legal counsel to numerous fire districts throughout New York State, offering a unique and practical perspective to those in attendance.
This full-day training will be held on Saturday, April 25th at the Glenham Fire Department.
