On Saturday, October 3rd, at approximately 13:40 hours, the Glenham Fire Department (GFD) was dispatched for a Priority 1 medical call for a person who fell approximately 15 feet from a ladder. Upon arrival GFD EMTs found a male on a landing with multiple injuries. Beacon Volunteer Ambulance Corps. (BVAC) and Mobile Life Support Service arrived on the scene and requested the ETA of a medivac. GFD Chief Dross (43C1) requested the launch of the helicopter to the rear of Glenham Elementary School where a landing zone would be set up. Engine 43-11 was dispatched to standby and secure the area for the landing. Mobile Life transported the patient to the landing zone where LifeNet Air 2 took over patient care and flew the patient to a trauma center.

Thank you for all that responded to give the patient immediate care.
