On Sunday, April 21st @ 2:09pm the Glenham Fire Department was dispatched for a Priority 3 auto accident on RT 52 in front of Healey Dodge, Ram, Jeep & Chrysler. Upon arrival of 43-2, one victim had self extricated from the vehicle, but the telephone pole had taken significant damage as well as damage to 2 vehicles in the Healey sales lot. Central Hudson was requested to the scene to asses damage to the pole. Upon arrival of 43-12 firefighters on board ensured the vehicle was no longer running and cleaned up fluid spills in the roadway. 43-61 and Town Of Fishkill PD shut down the involved section of RT 52 for a short while. GFD was assisted on scene by Town of Fishkill Police, Dutchess County Sheriffs office, Beacon Volunteer Ambulance and High End Auto.
